from an act of terrorism, all benefit maximums shown may
be reduced subject to the Terrorism Coverage provision in
the policy.

Emergency
Medical Benefits
- Up to $5 million in emergency medical coverage*
- Coverage for professional medical services due to covered
risk, up to $300

Trip Cancellation
and Trip Interruption Benefits
- Up to $2,500 per insured per trip for Single-Trip All-Inclusive
plans
- Up to $2,500 per insured per trip, and up to $5,000 per
policy year for Multi-Trip All-Inclusive Plans
- Reimbursement of prepaid portion of the trip that is
non-refundable and non-transferable to another travel date
for a covered event
Highlights of insured risks:
- Medical condition or death of insured (or insured's travel
companion)
- Medical condition or death of insured's (or insured's
travel companion's immediate family or key person)
- Business meeting
- Canadian Government issues travel advisory
- Travel visa not issued
- The person whose guest the insured will be during trip
has a medical emergency
- Misconnection
Baggage Loss,
Damage or Delay
This coverage relates to the loss of, damage to, and delay
of baggage and effects. This insurance provides coverage
for the following expenses:
- Up to $100 for replacement of a lost or stolen passport,
driver's licence, birth certificate or travel visa
- Up to $500 for necessary toiletries and clothing when
luggage is delayed by the carrier for at least 10 hours
while the insured is en route. The maximum payable for
this benefit under the Multi-Trip All-inclusive plan is
$1,500 per policy year
- Up to $300 per trip for any item or set of items to a
maximum of $1,000. The maximum payable for this benefit
under the Multi-Trip All-inclusive Plan is $3,000 per policy
year
Flight
Accident and Travel Accident
Flight Accident and Travel Accident Insurance covers the
following benefits:
- If an accidental bodily injury causes the insured to
die, to become completely and permanently blind in both
eyes or to have two limbs fully severed above the wrist
or ankle joints, in the 12 months after the accident, Manulife
Financial will pay: $100,000 under Flight Accident Insurance;
or $50,000 under Travel Accident insurance
- If an accidental bodily injury causes the insured to
become completely and permanently blind in one eye or have
one limb fully severed above a wrist or ankle joint in
the 12 months after the accident, Manulife Financial will
pay: $50,000 under Flight Accident Insurance; or $25,000
under Travel Accident Insurance
- If the insured has more than one accidental bodily injury
during the trip, Manulife Financial will pay the applicable
insured sum only for the one accident that entitles the
insured to the largest benefit amount

BounceBack
Benefit
Return home and go back with this coverage, which provides
up to $2,000 towards the cost of a return ticket home from
your client's trip destination and back to continue the trip
if during the trip, an immediate family member dies or undergoes
an emergency hospitalization or your client's principal residence
in Canada, due to a natural disaster, becomes uninhabitable.
This plan can only be purchased with Single-Trip plans and
at an additional premium cost.
Top-Up Options
- Top-Up coverage must be purchased prior to departure
and is subject to an extra premium charge The Single-Trip
Emergency Medical
- The Single-Trip Emergency Medical plan can be used to
top up a Manulife Financial Multi-Trip plan or plans of
other insurers for a trip up to 183 days, including top-up
(212 days if your client resides in Ontario or Newfoundland)
- It is the responsibility of the applicant to confirm
that top-up is permitted on the existing plan with no loss
of coverage
- If the applicant is age 55 or older and is travelling
for more than 30 days, the medical questions must be completed
if they have not already done so
- The Single-Trip All-Inclusive Top-Up option can be used
to top up a Manulife Financial Travel Insurance Multi-trip
All-Inclusive plan

the premium amount for the required number of days from the

Deductible Discounts are only available on the Single-Trip
Emergency Medical and Multi-Trip Emergency Medical plans.

All discounts can be combined, except the following:
- Family Coverage and Travel Companion discounts cannot
be combined
- Deductible discount options are not applicable to the
Travel Canada Plan and All-Inclusive plans
Family Coverage
Available when family members are all under age 55 for spouse
and dependent children. The rate is calculated at 2 x the
premium due for the oldest traveller under age 55. Family
coverage is available for any Emergency Medical plan (All-Inclusive
plans are not eligible).

Claim-Free
Discount
A 5% discount will be offered on the insurance
plan premium purchased next year if your client meets these
conditions:
- Has never submitted a travel insurance claim to us before;
- Is age 55 or older and qualifies for the same rate category;
and
- Has purchased a Manulife Financial Travel Insurance plan
that provides coverage for 90 days or more.
Travel
Companion Discount
A 5% discount is available on all plans when two adults
apply for insurance at the same time. The discount applies
to both insureds and is not available for Family Coverage
purchases.

TO CANADA PLAN INFORMATION
Who Can Apply?
- Visitors to Canada
- Canadians who are not eligible for benefits under a government
health insurance plan
- Persons who are in Canada on a work or student visa
- New immigrants who are awaiting government health insurance
plan coverage
What Else You Need to Know When Applying
for Coverage
- The policy may only be issued in Canada and coverage
must not exceed 365 days
- Application for insurance may be made before your client
arrives in Canada
- If the insurance is purchased after your client arrives
in Canada, the application for insurance must be made within
30 days of arriving in Canada
- On the effective date of insurance, the client must be
in Canada and:
- under age 80 to be eligible for Plan 50; and
- under age 55 to be eligible for Plan 100 or Plan
150
- Your client may not be covered under more than one plan
during a trip
- A $50 (CDN) deductible will apply to each claim made
under this policy, if your client has selected the $50
deductible option
